Freedom Farms Project

Livelihoods in developing nations heavily depend on agriculture, which accounts for over 25% of GDP and employs 59% of the population. But unfortunately, small-scale farmers face various challenges that restrict their productivity and earnings due to limited access to resources, infrastructure, and markets.

Responding To The Plights of Smallholders

In many low-income countries, the cost of farming essentials is prohibitively high for smallholders. Fertilizers, for example, can be unaffordable, causing a big dent in productivity. Without fertilizers, crops lack essential nutrients to grow, translating into reduced yield, poor quality, and, ultimately, low income for farmers.

Similarly, the cost of modern farming equipment—such as tractors, plows, and harvesters—can be exorbitant for landowners. Lacking the capital to acquire these tools, they resort to manual labor and face reduced efficiency and productivity. The shortage of resources and infrastructure leaves farmers struggling to make ends meet, causing economic turmoil in the community.

A New Path to Prosperity: Welcome to Freedom Farms

Freedom Farms is an innovative program to advance sustainable agriculture and empower farming communities. Here’s the 3-step concept behind this project:

We provide microloans to help farmers arrange the necessary equipment and resources (tractors, wells, and greenhouses) for seamless farming

These provisions ensure a strong harvest for our beneficiaries, leading to higher profits

The farmers sell the crop in the market, repaying their microloan and keeping the profits to support their families

Freedom Farms has already been initiated in Yemen, but we plan to expand it to Egypt, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Join us in our life-changing endeavor to promote economic development and sustainability. Our microloans typically cost around $2000 per farm per growing season, but we are open to flexible payment options.

HELPING THOSE IN NEED

Why Support Freedom Farms?

nvesting in Freedom Farms lays the foundation for sustainable, long-lasting change in disadvantaged communities. Let’s have a look at 4 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) you would directly be contributing to as you support Freedom Farms:

 No Poverty

Zero Hunger

Reduced Inequality

Sustainable Cities and Communities

Above all, Freedom Farms is your opportunity to create Sadaqah Jariyah — The farmer may return the initial investment, which would then be used by another deserving farmer, continuing the cycle. What this means is that every time your contribution is reused, you may be rewarded by Allah S.W.T. So, take a step towards ending agricultural stagnation and promoting prosperity.
