Freedom Philanthropies uses reputable partners and employs local teams in each country they operate in to carry out essential humanitarian aid with lower overhead costs. This creates jobs, stimulates local economies and allows donors to make an impact in communities all around the world with the touch of a button, in a cost effective way.

Across all of our programs and initiatives, we have operated in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Palestine, Peru, Lebanon, Liberia, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

Freedom Philanthropies launched its very first initiative in Gaza, making it a central focus of our work since the organization’s founding. Over the past five years, we have expanded our network and made every effort to ensure that our aid reaches communities on the ground in Gaza. Despite the significant challenges posed by the blockade over the past year, we have continued to deliver clean water, medical supplies, and food aid—amounting to hundreds of thousands of servings across various regions of Gaza.

Like many humanitarian organizations, we are sometimes limited by external restrictions and political barriers that prevent direct access. In those moments, we remain committed to supporting the people of Gaza by assisting refugees who have fled the country with nothing but their lives. We help them take steps toward recovery, stability, and a sense of normalcy after the trauma they have experienced.

Freedom Philanthropies Inc. is the official registered name of the nonprofit organization behind all of our humanitarian initiatives. We market as Freedom Bakeries, which began as our flagship effort to fight hunger by building community-run bakeries that provide free bread. As our mission expanded, we launched additional initiatives—Freedom Wells, Freedom Farms, and Freedom Pharmacies—to meet urgent needs in clean water access, sustainability, and medical aid.

While each program has its own branding and focus, they all operate under the same 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are led by the same core team. Donations for each initiative are tracked and used separately to ensure transparency and impact, but they’re united by our shared commitment to serving communities in crisis.
