In 2019, Lebanon faced a devastating economic crisis that shook the entire region, but its most severe impact was on food security. As prices surged, many people lost the ability to afford essential goods, leading to 46% of Lebanese households experiencing food insecurity.
This sudden and profound challenge required a sustainable solution. While temporary aid might have provided short-term relief, we aimed for a more enduring impact. Thanks to your steadfast support, we launched our bakery operations in Lebanon in August 2024.
