Hunger Crisis In Liberia
Poverty, inflation, and economic instability have cast a long shadow over the lives of millions in Liberia. Acute hunger and widespread malnutrition remain pressing concerns, leaving countless families struggling to meet their most basic needs.
In a country of 5.5 million people, nearly half the population survives on less than US $2 a day. This heartbreaking reality means that for many, even securing a simple meal has become a daily challenge.
How Freedom Bakeries Is Making A Difference
At Freedom Bakeries, we are committed to easing this burden. Through our on-ground bakery in Liberia, we bake and distribute around 300 fresh loaves of bread daily to some of the most vulnerable communities. Each loaf we deliver represents more than just food. It is a symbol of compassion, dignity, and hope.
During Ramadan 2025, we delivered 26,000 loaves of bread and 100 food baskets to families in desperate need, easing the burden of hunger for vulnerable families.
