Aiding Gaza in Times of Crisis: Freedom Caravan's Mission
For years, Gaza has endured a severe humanitarian crisis, but in the past year, conditions have worsened dramatically. Approximately 83% of the population has been displaced and requires immediate assistance. Through the Freedom Caravan, you can help ease their struggles and bring hope in these challenging times.

The Escalating Crisis In Gaza
On October 7, 2023, the long-standing humanitarian crisis in Gaza intensified, marking an extremely difficult period for its vulnerable population. By the end of 2023, almost 1.7 million displaced families were already living in camps and faced even greater hardships. One of their most urgent needs was essential nourishment to endure these tough days.
Freedom Bakeries: A Steadfast Aid
Since the crisis escalated, Freedom Bakeries, in collaboration with on-ground organizations, has been committed to aiding affected families. Now, we have launched the Freedom Caravan with UFLAH to supply essential aid to those in need.
Nourishment: A Lifeline for Displaced Families
From day one, nourishment has been a critical need for displaced families in Gaza. With food supplies depleted due to the destruction of buildings and shops, the Freedom Caravan aims to provide essential food supplies. In the first phase, 10-11 trucks, loaded with 160 tons of food boxes prepared through your generosity, were sent to Gaza.
These boxes contain staple food supplies to ease the hardships of families enduring their worst days. Additionally, our team in Gaza has installed baking ovens in displacement camps to provide freshly baked bread, reigniting hope.
Education: Building a Brighter Future
In times of crisis, education lays the foundation for a better future for Gaza’s vulnerable families. Many students from Gaza traveled to Egypt to continue their studies, seeking a brighter tomorrow. However, the worsening situation in Gaza has prevented their families from sending fees, hindering their education.
The Freedom Caravan invited 70 Gaza students in Egypt to a dinner and provided them with the necessary funds, allowing them to continue their studies. Each student received $200, easing their educational struggles, as we believe this youth will build a better future for themselves and their families.

Freedom Village: A Vision for Better Living
Living in displacement camps may sound easy, but only those who experience it know the true hardships. Staying in makeshift tents is incredibly challenging, especially when weather conditions worsen, tents deteriorate, rainwater seeps in, and open spaces must be used as washrooms, affecting the dignity of the displaced, especially women.
The Freedom Caravan has envisioned the Freedom Village. This initiative plans to establish 20-25 camps with a mosque and a small tent school/classroom. Each house, costing around $6000, will accommodate 4-5 people and include their own bathroom and kitchen. These camps will be powered by solar panels. The mosque, costing around $5000, will allow the displaced population to continue their religious practices without worry or fear, and the classrooms will help vulnerable children continue their education.
The plans of the Freedom Caravan are more than just one-time efforts; they represent a long-term commitment to the people of Gaza. Our vision is to provide sustainable solutions that address the immediate needs while also paving the way for a brighter future. Your support is crucial in making this vision a reality.
Millions of our brothers and sisters in Gaza are enduring unimaginable hardships. They are not just numbers; they are individuals, families, and communities who need our solidarity and assistance. The destruction has left them without homes, without food, and without hope. Yet, amid this despair, there is a glimmer of resilience and a deep yearning for a better tomorrow.
