In fact, I chose to study this specialty because of my love of helping people, especially if they need this help and there is nothing better than saving a human life or relieving his pain. God willing, I aspire to implement my father’s commandment: Treating poor patients for free as much as possible, because my father was one of them and we had difficulty receiving his appropriate treatment. This is after my study of general human medicine in the specialty of general surgery and obtaining the highest degrees, God willing, in order to help my people in Gaza and support them. There is no doubt that the Freedom Foundation grant helped me a lot in this period, and this is because of my support on my university expenses and also personal and I did not find it difficult to provide the books and supplies I need to study from courses abroad and others. This financial grant also helped me to support my mother and sister here in Egypt, especially since my sister came injured to Egypt because of the war on Gaza. Especially after my father’s martyrdom, he is our main breadwinner (as well as my sister, grandfather and family members).
