Help Every Student
Iam MohammedMohammed AlHarazin, from Al-Shuja’iya, North Gaza. I was born into a family of eight: four brothers, one sister, and my parents. I m the youngest, named after my father, who passed away when I was just three years old due to eart disease, after years of struggling with illness and poverty.
My mother took on the responsibility of raising me and my siblings despite the harsh conditions. We lived in a simple home with an income that barely covered our needs.
My childhood was incredibly difficult. I lost my father’s warmth and the sense of security at an early age.
This pushed me to start working in farming and local markets from a young age. Despite these challenges, I remained the top student at my school from elementary school through high school.
My mother was determined to support me in achieving my dream of becoming a cardiologist, as I had always wished. She prepared me for this path, nurturing me academically, morally, and spiritually. I memorized the Quran and studied many poetry books.
One of the toughest moments of my life was during the 2014 war, when my family and I were displaced, and our home was completely destroyed. We endured extremely difficult conditions, especially as I was preparing for my high school final exams. I worked in rebuilding our house while studying at friends’ homes. Despite everything, I graduated with honors, thanks to God.
Encouraged by my mother, I travelled to Egypt to pursue a medical degree despite having no financial means. She sold her jewellery and some of our belongings and even took on debt to pay for my university tuition. With God’s grace, I successfully graduated from Mansoura University’s Faculty of Medicine with Excellent and honours.
Currently, I am a trainee physician at Mansoura University Hospitals and actively participate in medical research. I had hoped to return home after my studies, but then the 2024 war broke out. I lost contact with my family for months. Part of my family was displaced to the south, living in tents, and once again, our home in Al-Shuja’iya was destroyed. My brother and his children were injured, and later, my mother suffered severe injuries, resulting in hearing loss and fractures.
I am now unable to return home or support my family, nor can I even fully support myself. These challenges have only strengthened my determination to specialize in cardiology and return to serve my people as soon as possible. This is why I chose Germany. I have already passed the equivalency exam, aligning my Egyptian medical education with German standards, and I am now studying German. I am set to complete my B1 level by the middle of next month, in sha Allah.
Your help came at just the right time, as we have no income to cover daily expenses, rent, or repay our debts.
Thank you so much, and may God bless you!Thank you for your attention
